How to make a Mango Daiquiri

You can shake your Mango Daiquiri's but it is very common to blend them with ice also. Blending the daiquiri gives it a smoother texture and perfect for a hot summers day!

Ingredients

  • 45mL White Rum
  • 25mL Lime Juice
  • 15mL Sugar Syrup
  • Mango (preferably fresh)

Instructions

  1. Add a small scoop of ice to the blender
  2. Add remaining ingredients
  3. Blend for approximately 30 seconds
  4. Pour into a cocktail glass

Notes

Alternatively, muddle fresh mango (or use mango puree) and aggressively shake the ingredients before straining into a cocktail glass. This method will have a stronger rum taste as you will not have diluted the drink with ice. Less sugar syrup is needed in a fruit daiquiri as the mango is naturally sweet.
