How to make a Mojito

This is, in my opinion, the quickest, easiest and tastiest way to create a mojito - as it was traditionally made in the bar La Bodeguita Del Medio in Cuba. Many bars muddle their mojitos, forcing the acid in the skin of the lime into the cocktail. Some even muddle the mint, turning it bitter.

Instructions

  1. Fill a hi-ball glass with ice
  2. Pick some fresh mint and tear in half, place on the palm of your hand, clap the mint and add to glass
  3. Add the rum, lime juice and sugar syrup
  4. Top with a splash of soda
  5. Stir thoroughly

Notes

This method is perfect for groups as you can presqueeze the lime juice, making the mojito will now be a quick, clean and painfree process.
