19th Century Cocktail Recipe
The 19th Century is a bourbon-based variation on the 20th Century cocktail. First created in New York by Brian Miller at the Pegu Club. Whilst slightly less chocolate-y notes than that of it's predecessor, this is our preferred version that seems to have more cohesion with flavours and balance.
Ingredients
- 45 mL Bourbon Whiskey 1½ oz
- 22.5 mL White Creme de Cacao ¾ oz
- 22.5 mL Lillet Rouge ¾ oz
- 22.5 mL Fresh Lemon Juice ¾ oz

- Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with a lemon twist
