
How to make an Applejack Manhattan
Laird's Applejack add's a welcome touch of sweetness to a traditional Manhattan.
This cocktail comes from the New York cocktail bar, PDT (Please Don't Tell) and is also featured in Jim Meehan's book found below. The PDT Cocktail Book: The Complete Bartender's Guide from the Celebrated Speakeasy
Ingredients
- 60 mL Laird's Applejack
- 30 mL Dolin Rouge - Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Instructions
- Fill a mixing glass with ice
- Add all the ingredients
- Stir thoroughly
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with a twist of orange zest
