
How to make a Bermuda Rum Swizzle
As usual, there are numerous different versions - try the Rum Swizzle for a simpler cocktail. If possible, use freshly squeezed juices and you will notice the difference!
Ingredients
- 30 ml Dark Rum
- 30 ml Gold Rum
- 30 ml Pineapple Juice
- 30 ml Orange Juice
- 15 ml Grapefruit Juice
- 22.5 ml Falernum
- 22.5 Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 2 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
Instructions
- Fill a high ball or pilsner glass with crushed ice
- Add the ingredients (excluding the bitters)
- Use a barspoon (or swizzle stick!) to thoroughly mix, frosting the glass
- Finish with the bitters
- Garnish with a sprig of mint
Notes
Falernum is a sweet syrup used in Caribbean and tropical drinks. It can be made using almonds, ginger, cloves, limes, vanilla, allspice, star anise, etc.
