
Brancolada
The Brancolada recipe was created by New York bartender Jeremy Oertel. He is also known for numerous other modern classics such as the Artichoke Hold and the Bitter Mai Tai. Jeremy has worked at notable bars including Death & Co., Dram and Donna and now runs a consulting company You and Me Cocktails with his wife Natasha.The drink is a delicious variation on the classic Pina Colada - calling for the addition of Branca Menta, adding intricate yet subtle bitter notes and a prominent fresh mint flavour.
Ingredients
- 30 ml Branca Menta
- 30 ml Blended Aged Rum Jamaican
- 45 ml Pineapple Juice
- 7.5 ml Orange Juice
- 22.5 ml Cream of Coconut
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice for 12-15 seconds
- Strain over crushed ice
- Alternatively, blend for a frozen drink
