Classic Boulevardier Cocktail

Boulevardier Cocktail Recipe

The Boulevardier is boozy, bitter and sweet. It was first created by Erskine Gwynne, the publisher of a magazine (named Boulevardier) for expats living in Paris in the 1920s.
The term boulevardier loosely translates to "man about town".
I, like many, prefer to serve this in a double old fashioned over ice rather than up (like pictured).
