
Boulevardier Cocktail Recipe
The Boulevardier is boozy, bitter and sweet. It was first created by Erskine Gwynne, the publisher of a magazine (named Boulevardier) for expats living in Paris in the 1920s.The term boulevardier loosely translates to "man about town".
Ingredients
- 45 ml bourbon or rye whiskey
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- 30 ml Campari
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine the ingredients
- Stir with ice for 15-30 seconds
- Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass OR over ice into an old fashioned glass
- Garnish with an orange twist
