Conquistador Cocktail Recipe
The Conquistador is yet another creation by Sam Ross (creator of the Penicillin, Paper Plane and the Too Soon?). At it's heart it is simply a split-base variant on a sour - featuring a dark rum and blanco tequila (original recipe calls for Matusalem Gran Reserva Rum and Siembra Azul Blanco Tequila). This variant on a sour results in a mellow tequila drink that retains the vegetal notes of the tequila. Highly recommended!

- 30 ml Aged Rum 1 oz
- 30 ml Blanco Tequila 1 oz
- 22.5 ml Simple Syrup 0.75 oz
- 15 ml Lemon Juice 0.5 oz

- 2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
- Egg White
