
Cynar Martinez Cocktail Recipe
Substituting Cynar in place of the Sweet Vermouth in a Martinez creates a complex variation on the classic cocktail with a subtle bitterness.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Gin 1.5 oz
- 45 ml Cynar 1.5 oz
- 10 ml Luxardo Maraschino 0.33 oz
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients into your mixing glass
- Stir with ice for 30-40 seconds
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Express lemon oils over the top
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry
