"You don't wanna meet this cocktail in a dark alley" is the only words that described the Death Flip cocktail when it was first featured on the cocktail menu at Black Pearl in Melbourne, Australia back in 2010. The unlikely pairing of ingredients would most likely scare off the most timid of consumers yet the flip seems to subdue the wildly trio into a rich, cream and herbaceous combination.

  • Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
  • Dry shake (without ice)
  • Wet shake (with ice)
  • Double strain into a stemmed cocktail glass
  • Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
