How to make an Espresso Martini
The espresso martini has been made hugely popular in recent years due to the addictive combination of coffee & vodka ! Make sure you use cold drip coffee - coffee extracted with heat tends to go bitter when not used immediately. Cold drip makes a delicious and consistent Espresso Martini - every time!

- 30 mL Coffee Liqueur
- 30 mL Cold Drip Coffee
Instructions
- Fill a boston glass with ice.

March 17, 2019 at 11:26 amHi, I came across this drink at a restaurant on the Gold Coast. They include hazelnut in their mix but not sure how or what exactly.
But, i have used an espresso machine for the coffee, shook it all up but the coffee doesn’t stay at the bottom of the glass, it’s all mixed together, would the cold drip be better?
Look forward to your reply

March 18, 2019 at 10:26 amThey might create an orgeat with hazelnuts.. Orgeat is an almond syrup so simply sub the almonds for hazelnuts – see recipe here…
When you shake, everything will mix together… make sure you give it a good, aggressive shake for 12 seconds. When you strain it into the glass, it will all look a dark, hazy brown but after 30 seconds, the crema will form and the layers will separate.. let me know how it goes! =)
