
French Pearl Cocktail Recipe
The French Pearl was created by Audrey Saunders in 2006 at the Pegu Club in NYC. This drink was created as a tribute to the 1800s French architectural style apparent in the late 1800's. During this era, it was fashionable to be sipping the anise-flavoured liqueur, Pastis.
Ingredients
- 60 mL Gin
- 7.5 mL Pastis
- 22.5 mL Fresh Lime Juice
- 22.5 mL Simple Syrup
- 6 Mint Sprigs
Instructions
- Gently muddle your mint leaves in your cocktail shaker
- Add remaining ingredients
- Shake with ice
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
