French Pearl Cocktail Recipe

The French Pearl was created by Audrey Saunders in 2006 at the Pegu Club in NYC. This drink was created as a tribute to the 1800s French architectural style apparent in the late 1800's. During this era, it was fashionable to be sipping the anise-flavoured liqueur, Pastis.

  • 60 mL Gin
  • 7.5 mL Pastis
  • 22.5 mL Fresh Lime Juice
  • 22.5 mL Simple Syrup
  • 6 Mint Sprigs


  • Gently muddle your mint leaves in your cocktail shaker
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • Shake with ice
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
