How to make a Hemingway Daiquiri
This would have to be my flavour of the month. I first tried this a few years back but my love was rekindled with the Hemingway Daiquiri recently. Hemingway use to drink 6 of these on a night out at the Cuban bar el Floridita – on a big night, he would drink about 12 Papa Doble’s (which were around twice as strong!).
Traditionally a Hemingway Daiquiri was served on shaved or crushed ice but in this version we’ll be serving it straight up! Anyone who likes the bitterness of grapefruit will fall in love, just like I have.
