
Italian Mojito Cocktail Recipe
The Italian Mojito is named after the origin of the main ingredient, the Cocchi Americano aperitif. A less citrusy, less tart, sweeter variant of the classic Mojito that exhibits a very subtle bitter note from the Italian aperitif.
Ingredients
- 75 mL Cocchi Americano 2½ oz
- 30 mL Fresh Lime Juice 1 oz
- 15 mL Simple Syrup ½ oz
- Dash of Soda / Seltzer Water
- 6-10 Mint Leaves
Instructions
- Add the mint leaves to your high ball glass
- Gently press/muddle the mint leaves in the glass
- Add the ingredients excluding the soda water
- Add cubed ice and stir
- Top with crushed ice before finishing with a dash of soda water
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint
