45mL White Rum
25mL Lime Juice
15mL Sugar Syrup
Mango (preferably fresh)
Add a small scoop of ice to the blender
Add remaining ingredients
Blend for approximately 30 seconds
Pour into a cocktail glass
Alternatively, muddle fresh mango (or use mango puree) and aggressively shake the ingredients before straining into a cocktail glass. This method will have a stronger rum taste as you will not have diluted the drink with ice.
Less sugar syrup is needed in a fruit daiquiri as the mango is naturally sweet.
