Classic Negroni Cocktail Recipe
A classic Negroni cocktail generally calls for equal parts but I've opted for a more gin-forward approach for this 3 ingredient cocktail. I like to change between local gins depending on the mood. If I want a softer, sweeter style Negroni then I will opt for Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth with its subtle vanilla notes otherwise I'll swap the sweet vermouth for Punt e Mes for a bold, bitter Negroni variation.
Ingredients
- 45 mL Gin 1½ oz
- 30 mL Sweet Vermouth 1 oz
- 30 mL Campari 1 oz
Instructions
- Combine the 3 ingredients into your double old fashioned glass
- Stir with ice
- Garnish with a large twist of orange
