
Paddington Cocktail Recipe
PDT in NYC has a bear named Paddington within the venue. David Slape was the first bartender to be hired at PDT and he created this riff on a Hemingway Daiquiri with Paddington’s treat of choice, orange marmalade.
Ingredients
- 45 mL White Rum 1½ oz
- 15 mL Lillet Blanc ½ oz
- 15 mL Fresh Grapefruit Juice ½ oz
- 15 mL Fresh Lemon Juice ½ oz
- 1 Barspoon Orange Marmalade
- 1 Dash Absinthe
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Add an absinthe rinse to your glass
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with a grapefruit twist
