Peychaud’s Paloma Cocktail Recipe
Peychaud's Bitters has a sweet, cherry, clove and nutmeg flavour that can easily overtake a drink in high measurements. The Peychaud's Paloma (in these ratios) is a little overpowering. Whilst it looks stunning visually, I would advise lowering the Peychaud's by 15mL (half an ounce).
Ingredients
- 30 mL Tequila 1 oz
- 60 mL Grapefruit Juice 2 oz
- 15 mL Simple Syrup ½ oz
- 60 mL Soda / Seltzer 2 oz
- 45 mL Peychaud's Bitters 1½ oz
Instructions
- Combine the tequila, fresh grapefruit juice and simple syrup to your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Pour the soda / seltzer into your high ball glass with ice
- Strain the cocktail into your glass
- Float the Peychaud's Bitters on top
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice or twist
