
How to make Red Sangria
Use this as a base recipe and start to experiment by using seasonal fruit or adding your favourite spirit as a base.
Ingredients
- 750 mL Light / Dry Red Wine
- 200 mL Cointreau or Gran Marnier
- 250 mL Freshly-squeezed Orange Juice
- 45 mL Sugar Syrup
- Few dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Fresh fruit
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large jug (1.5L is ideal)
- Add ice and chill
- Pour into glasses (makes 8)
Notes
Make use of seasonal fruit. Fresh orange, lemon, lime & apple are a good start.
Try steeping the fruit for a few hours in the fridge prior to serving.
