The Scorpion Bowl was a creation of Trader Vic and was served in a punch bowl for a group of imbibers. Below is one of the more popular single serve versions of the Scorpion by Steve Crane, the former owner of a legendary tiki bar, The Luau.

Ingredients
 

  • 30 ml gold Puerta Rican rum
  • 30 ml gin
  • 15 ml brandy
  • 30 ml orange juice
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml orgeat
  • 10 ml simple syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a milkshake maker tin, combine all ingredients.
  • Add pebble ice and flash blend (alternatively, whip shake)
  • Transfer to a highball glass and top with more pebble ice, if needed.
  • Garnish with edible flowers.
