How to make a Singapore Sling:
The Singapore Sling was first created by a bartender at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. A gin-based cocktail with fresh pineapple juice which enhances the sweet flavour whilst creating a creamy foam top.

This is the original recipe that is still made today at the Raffles Hotel, first created almost 100 years ago.
- 45mL Gin
- 15mL Cherry Heering
- 10mL Cointreau
- 10mL Benedictine
- 120mL Pineapple Juice
- 15mL Lime Juice
- 10mL Grenadine
- 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
There are quite a number of ingredients in a Singapore Sling but don’t let this intimidate you, it is still an easy drink to make. Fill a boston glass with ice and add all the listed ingredients, shake thoroughly to ensure a nice creamy pineapple froth.
Pour the contents of the shaker into a pilsner glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.
