
Smoke & Mirrors
A smoky and spicy margarita sour! Plenty of heat brought on by the ginger syrup and jalapeno which pairs perfectly with the smoky mezcal. Created by Melissa Yard from Josephine Wine Bar, Charleston.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Mezcal
- 15 ml Orange Liqueur
- 30 ml Lime Juice
- 15 ml Ginger Syrup
- 15 ml Pineapple Syrup
- 1 Egg White
- 3 slices Jalapeno
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Dry shake (without ice)
- Wet shake for 12-15 seconds (with ice)
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with cayenne mix (1:1:1 sugar to salt to cayenne)
