
South Slope Cocktail Recipe
The South Slope was created by Michael Madrusan whilst living in the Brooklyn South Slopes area. Michael is a well known bartender, owner of The Everleigh (Melbourne, AU), author of A Spot at the Bar and was also named one of the most influential by Australian Bartender magazine.The cocktail is reminiscent to the Unusual Negroni - with the addition of an orange liqueur and a touch of lemon juice, turning it into a Unusual Negroni Sour, of sorts.
Ingredients
- 22.5 ml Gin 0.75 oz
- 22.5 ml Aperol 0.75 oz
- 22.5 ml Lillet Blanc 0.75 oz
- 15 ml Orange Curacao 0.5 oz
- 15 ml Lemon Juice 0.5 oz
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Strain into a chilled coupe
- Garnish with a twist of lemon
