
Spiced Rum Stout Flip Cocktail Recipe
The spiced rum stout flip is intense, rich and comforting. The eggnog can move aside for this new and improved version which is full of flavour and spice with aromatics of nutmeg.
Why not try a Black Flip by Jim Meehan (NY) which utilises a Black Strap Rum and Chocolate Stout.
Ingredients
- 90 mL Stout
- 60 mL Spiced Rum
- 22.5 mL Sugar Syrup 1:1
- Whole Egg
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Dry shake (without ice)
- Wet shake (with ice)
- Strain into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass
- Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
