Starman Sour Recipe
The original Starman is a stirred drink with different proportions and has the addition of sweet vermouth - originally posted on Kindred Cocktails.I've tweaked the ratios and served it in a sour format which I think works much better. The sweet stone fruit shines through with background notes of bitter sweet spice.
Ingredients
- 30 ml Gin 1 oz
- 15 ml Amaro Nonino 0.5 oz
- 15 ml Apricot Brandy 0.5 oz
- 22.5 ml Lemon Juice 0.75 oz
- 2 Dash of Orange Bitters
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Strain into a chilled stemmed cocktail glass
- Garnish with a twist of orange
