
How to make a Strawberry Gin Fizz
Gin seems to be the most popular base for a fizz and there are also a multitude of variations such as silver, golden and royal fizz which are with egg white, egg yolk and whole egg (respectively).
Ingredients
- 45 mL Aviation Gin
- 20 mL Maidenii Dry Vermouth
- 20 mL Lemon Juice
- 15 mL Sugar Syrup
- Angostura Bitters
- 4-5 Strawberries
- Egg White
- Soda
Instructions
- Dry shake the egg white
- Muddle the strawberries in a Boston glass
- Add the egg white to the Boston glass
- Add the Aviation gin, Maidenii dry vermouth, lemon juice, sugar syrup & dash of bitters
- Shake & strain over fresh ice into a hi-ball glass
- Top with a dash of soda
- Garnish with a strawberry
Notes
This is a variation on a fizz with the addition of dry vermouth and bitters
