Camparinha
I discovered this one on Jean-Felix's YouTube channel, Truffle on the Rocks. It's a bitter take on the classic Caipirinha - heroing Campari in place of rum. The recipe does call for a small measure of rhum agricole as a nod to the original also imparting some grassy notes to an otherwise bitter beverage.Note: I substituted in a local red bitter by Imperial Measures Distilling in place of Campari, as seen in the picture.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Campari or alternate red bitter
- 7.5 ml Rhum Agricole
- 15 ml Simple Syrup
- 1 Lime cut into eighths
Instructions
- Cut the lime into eighths and place in glass
- Add remaining ingredients and muddle
- Fill with crushed ice
- Gently stir to combine
