Trader Vic's Sour
Trader Vic created countless variations on the sour. This interpretation calls for Scotch as the choice of spirit and orgeat as the sweetener, bringing it closer to the tiki realm.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Scotch whisky
- 22.5 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml orgeat
- 7.5 ml simple syrup
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients
- Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds
- Strain over fresh ice into an old fashioned glass
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and an orchid
