
Watermelon Cucumber Cooler
Salt is an ingredient often used to accentuate flavours within drinks. The wasabi salt in this cocktail enhances the juicy watermelon flavour whilst adding a touch of heat.
Ingredients
- 60 ml gin
- 22.5 ml lemon/lime juice
- 22.5 ml cane syrup (2:1)
- 1 pinch wasabi salt
- 30 ml watermelon juice
Instructions
- In a shaker, muddle the cucumber and cane syrup
- Add the gin and lemon/lime juice
- Shake for 10-12 seconds
- Double strain over fresh ice into a high ball glass
- Add the watermelon juice
- Gently stir and garnish with a slice of cucumber
