Whiskey Sour #3 (by Neal Bodenheimer)
Neal Bodenheimer from Cure in New Orleans featured in the top 3 from almost 20 Whiskey Sour recipes judged by panelists from PunchDrink.comNeal's recipe is my personal favourite of the 3 finalists. Using a Bourbon Whiskey base makes it the sweeter of the 3 but boasts fragrant aromas from the mist of Angostura bitters which finishes off the drink nicely. The top 3 Whiskey Sour recipes:

November 13, 2022 at 10:46 amHey Steve the Bartender, been searching and trying out different Whiskey Sour recipes. I have enjoyed Whiskey and Whisky from around the world (Being Scottish and naturally attracted to first single malts then discovering the great gifts from other types especially Traditional Bourbons, truly one of my favourites ). Yet I am new to the cocktails, what a loss for me. Well after a few months of trying different new and older cocktails I have found that the history of the Whiskey Sour as well as the beautiful taste and flavours that express themselves has sold me on it. This #3 recipe is by far my go to… thank you. Oh BTW have you tried swapping out a Chicken Egg white for a fresh Duck Egg white? You should. Of course I own a little hobby farm in Northern BC where I have Chickens and ducks. I have access… Slainte Mhaith!
