Old Barrel Cocktail Recipe
The Old Barrel is a dry, spicy, herbal variation on a classic Old Fashioned cocktail. The rye whiskey adds spicy notes whilst the Dom Benedictine adds sweet, herbal characteristics which is then balanced by the dry sherry.
Ingredients
- 60 mL Rye Whiskey 2 oz
- 15 mL Dom Benedictine ½ oz
- 15 mL Amontillado Sherry ½ oz
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients to an old fashioned glass
- Stir with ice for 20-30 seconds
- Garnish with a twist of lemon
