Yellow Smash Cocktail

The Yellow Smash was created in Munich by Klaus St. Rainer of the “Goldene Bar”. It is a typical smash cocktail - a sour made with fresh herbs to impart more flavour, depth, colour and aroma.

The smash style of cocktails are derived from the julep family. The first mention of a smash cocktail was by Harry Johnson back in 1888.

  • 10 Mint Leaves

  1. Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker
  2. Shake with ice
  3. Strain into a double old fashioned glass
